Marvel Rivals Jeff's Superstar Search: every star location and reward

Jeff's Superstar Search is a daily event in Marvel Rivals. Each day a new clue sends you to one of two hub maps, Times Square or Hellfire Bay Beach, to find a single star. This page lists every spot so far, so you can match today's clue and be done in a minute or two.

What the stars unlock

Can you still finish?

It depends on how many stars you already have. The event gives one star a day for 22 days, starting on 17 September. By 3 October, 16 of those days are gone, which leaves six: 3 to 8 October. A star only lasts until the next reset, so a missed day can't be collected later.

Two ways to earn the day's star

You get one star per day, and there are two routes to it. Open Jeff's Superstar Search from the Events menu, then pick the hub the clue names.

The first route is to follow the clue and collect the star yourself. The second is to win three matches in Quick Match, Competitive, Arcade or Practice vs. AI, which gives you that day's star without any searching.

How to read a clue

1. Find the hub first. Sand, piers and palm trees mean Hellfire Bay Beach. Billboards, statues, stairs, a disco or a subway mean Times Square.
2. Spot the landmark word. Every clue hides one, such as crimson steps, a mirrored ball, a round cabana or a pavilion with water on three sides.
3. Check the height. If the clue talks about roofs or soaring, bring a hero who can fly or climb.

Hellfire Bay Beach stars

Spawn building roof

Seen on 17 September. The clue mentions golden thatch and soaring. The golden thatched roof belongs to the building you spawn in, and the star is in the middle of it. You need a hero who can fly or climb to reach it.

Pym food cart

Seen on 19 and 28 September. The clue mentions a vehicle and a shrunken Jeff. Head left from spawn to the red Pym food cart, labelled Pym Test Kitchen. The star sits on the ground in the plants behind it, between the cart, a palm tree and the wooden railing, close to the pool floats.

Round cabana

Seen on 21 and 29 September. The clue mentions a round cabana and festive lights. Go left from spawn to the round cabana strung with lights, near the Beach Resort. The star is on its ledge, toward the back.

Pier juice counter

Seen on 23 September and 1 October. The clue mentions a pavilion with water on three sides and fresh juice. Walk to the end of the pier. The star is at the front of the juice counter, near the cash register.

Under the pier deck

Seen on 25 September. The clue mentions tree roots, a railing and sprouting from the sand. Look low. The star is beneath the wooden deck, among the palm roots and plants, so drop over the railing or walk underneath. Some guides place this deck on the left side of the beach instead, so check there if the pier is empty.

Times Square stars

Top of the red stairs

Seen on 18 September and 2 October. The clue mentions crimson steps and billboards. Walk up the big red steps in the central plaza and the star is waiting at the top. No special hero needed.

Captain America statue

Seen on 20 and 27 September. The clue mentions a bronze hero of justice. Go to the bronze Captain America statue in the plaza. The star is at its base.

Disco stage

Seen on 22 September. The clue mentions a mirrored ball and drums. From spawn, head left to the area behind the big red staircase and look for the neon Disco Night sign. Go inside, cross the room to the stage at the far end, and the star is at the drum kit.

Clobberin' Club

Seen on 24 and 30 September. The clue mentions a squared arena and punches. The quickest way in is the vending machine on the left wall of Times Square, which fast-travels you straight to the arena. You can also walk through the Disco Night building: take the hallway, turn right and go through the doorway under the orange Clobberin' Club sign. The star sits on the wooden floor in front of the big metal Fantastic Four emblems on the back wall.

Subway platform

Seen on 26 September. The clue mentions the streets above, station steps and music in the dark. Go to the back of Times Square and down the subway stairs. The star is on the platform, tucked behind the staircase.

Which days have repeated

Since 27 September the event has been replaying earlier spots, so you rarely need a new solution.
